Today, work commenced today on a revised version of the association’s registry of members, a list composed of info curated from membership applications and renewals.1 The register is being adapted into a mailing list file for a customer engagement and marketing platform to facilitate group emails to members.
The new method of contact will replace the previous process of CCing or BCCing members via email. The register of members file will be exclusively used for association emails and not distributed to third parties.
A similar list will be created for members of the Journal of Vampire Studies‘s advisory board.
Members of either group are advised to check their junk mail folder if emails do not appear in their main inbox.
