Due to a backlog of unadded titles, and the impracticality of writing posts for every new book received, “VSA Library Acquisitions” will be streamlined into a monthly update. The updates will document books obtained the month prior. The next update will be published in December, meaning it will list books received in November.

Dates of acquisition apply only when the book actually arrives at my house. This is to reconcile unidentified items arriving at the Vampire Studies Association’s post office box and delays that can occur before being able to pick them up.

If no books have been received, that will be accounted for, too.

There will also be a concerted effort to add these books to my LibraryThing catalogue, which will eventually be transitioned into a catalogue for the Association.

Extant books in my collection will also be added over time.

Consideration will also be given to non-book items like periodicals and other ephemera. They may require a different form of cataloguing process.

Donations are welcome, but please read our donation terms for consideration.

In the meantime, I would like to thank VAMzzz Publishing for our latest acquisition, Benjamin Adamah’s Vampir & Nachtmar: Central European Texts on Nocturnal Assault and the Drain of Life (1768–1930) (2026), the second volume in the company’s Vampire Library series.

Copies are available from the publisher’s website.
